Exploring Indiana! Part 5

Kids love animals, especially when they can up close and personal. Here are some attractions and sites to see that involve animals or farms:

Gas City Mini Zoo

The zoo houses over 100 animals ranging from Australian black swans to whitetail deer. Open from 7:00 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily throughout the year.

Canterbury Arabians

See over 50 Arabians bathing, eating or a foal being born at a working horse farm. Spring and summer are the best times to visit when the new colts arrive.

Indianapolis Zoo

Hunter's Honey Farm

A family honey farm in its fourth generation, with 500 hives offering more than 12 varieties of honey along with dozens of beeswax candles.
