How is Real Estate practiced in your part of the country?
Hello, I love helping people relocate from different parts of the country. One of the most interesting facets is the differing ways in which real estate is practiced from region to region. Please submit some of the typical timeframes and practices in your area. It is amazing how different North, South, East, West can be. Here are some of the specifics for the Indianapolis area that I have found are not necessarily the same countrywide. Earnest money--can be anything, but 1% of the offered price is typical Closing--our closings typically take place within 30 days after acceptance Attorneys--most of our clients--maybe 95% do not have attorneys present at closing List price/Sales price--in most price ranges is 97% Please share your thoughts!
