Seems like everyone's doing it nowadays--blogging. Blogs are everywhere! From high schoolers to corporate execs to stay-at-home moms, people are getting their ideas out there through their blogs. According to Technorati.com, nearly 3 million blogs are created each month, averaging about 100,000 new blogs every day! F.C. Tucker Annual Awards

The F.C. Tucker Company recently held its annual awards banquet to honor the accomplishments of its agents. Diane received the 2007 Executive Sales Club Member Award for volume over 8 million and the Realty Alliance 2007 Award, which places her in the top 20% of REALTORS in the nation. Congrats Diane!

Advice for Troubled Borrowers

If you have clients who have come to you for advice on their mortgage situation, you may not have known what to say. Here are severals bits of advice for those homeowners from REALTOR magazine: 1). Call the national counseling hotline President Bush has publicized. The number is 1-888-995-4673 and is available 24/7. The number puts you in contact with HUD-approved counselors affiliated with the Homeownership Preservation Foundation. 2). Expect to be on the phone about 45 minutes. The counselor will gather information about your financial situation and make determinations on your eligibility. Homeowners are eligible if: They're current and expect to stay current after the rate resets but are looking to refinance into a better loan They're current but face possible default after their rate resets They're in default before their rate resets They have a purchase-money mortgage, not home-equity loans They secured financing between Jan. 1, 2005 and July 31, 2007 3).
