Why I Love Zionsville
I love to promote my town, Zionsville , Indiana. Zionsville is a Colonial Village just northwest of Indianapolis. It has a brick Main Street lined with charming stores and restaurants. The people of Zionsville care and are involved in their community. This spirit is reflected in the many festivals and events throughout the year as well as in the support of the 5 star schools. My two favorite festivals are the Country Market in May and the Fall Festival in September. The Country Market features more than 150 artisans from all over the country. White tents cover Main Street for a lovely day of great shopping and fun food. The second event, the Fall Festival takes place the weekend following Labor Day. It begins on Friday and concludes Sunday afternoon. There is an old fashioned parade that surprisingly lasts over an hour. Floats, high school bands, horses, cheerleaders all delight the onlookers.
