A look at...Indianapolis Cultural Districts--The Canal and White River State Park

The Canal and White River State Park

Located just west of downtown is the White River State Park and the Central Canal, both areas that boast lots to do and see all year round. The 250-acre White River State Park and the Canal allow outdoor enthusiasts lots of chances to enjoy walking and bicycling along the paths and gondola and paddle boat rides on the canal. The Lawn at White River State Park offers unique outdoor concerts and Victory Field is a great place to catch an Indianapolis Indians' baseball game. Other attractions include the Indianapolis Zoo, the Eiteljorg Museum, the Indiana State Museum, the NCAA Hall of Champions and IMAX Theatre.
