A look at...Indianapolis Cultural Districts--Indiana Avenue
Indiana Avenue
Just west of Downtown sits an area that brings together history, music, restored neighborhoods and spirituality and celebrates Indianapolis' African-American heritage. There you will find Bethel African Methodist Church (the oldest African-American congregation in Indy), the 500 block of Indiana Avenue (which is on the National Register of Historic Places), the IUPUI campus and Ransom Place Neighborhood.
For more information, check out Indiana Avenue for yourself or visit www.discoverculturaldistricts.com.
