Windows--Make sure screens are secure and in good condition

Fence or deck--Paint or seal new wood fencing or decking

Pool or pond--Check all equipment, install rescue and first-aid equipment and review safety procedures with your family

Pathways--Add lighting along steps and paths

Landscaping--be sure to care for and water new plants, trees and shrubs

Dryer and A/C vents--Make sure nothing is blocking the dryer exhaust duct or the HVAC intake vent
