Indiana State Fair

With all this talk of all these fun Indiana attractions and events, I didn't mention one of the largest Indiana events--the Indiana State Fair! Kids love animals, especially when they can up close and personal. Here are some attractions and sites to see that involve animals or farms: Gas City Mini Zoo South Broadway at Gas City Park off SR 22 www.gascity.com/visitors/attractions/petting-zoo.htm The zoo houses over 100 animals ranging from Australian black swans to whitetail deer. Open from 7:00 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily throughout the year. Spring and summer are the best times to visit when the new colts arrive.
